SNU’s 60th Anniversary Emblem

Having opened in 1946, the school celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2006. SNU’s mascot, the crane, is shaped into a flaming torch, symbolizing SNU’s role as a global leader of the 21st century. The elegant yet dynamic design boasts an institution with great initiative and vitality. The main color, dark blue, represents SNU as an educational institution. The green and yellow gradation expresses the celebratory spirit of the school’s 60th anniversary. The emblem was used on banners, promotional materials, souvenirs, etc., and was displayed at the school’s 60th anniversary commemoration event.
