SNU University Computing Center launched"Online Campus License Software Distribution System" on February, which makes it possible to download school software without visiting the computer center.

Thanks to the new system, SNU constituents can now install online not only the campus license software programs which were previously provided through the center's webpage but also large programs, such as Windows OS, MS Office, Photoshop, and SAS, which were previously provided only on actual CDs, in the form of virtual CDROMs.

SNU has provided widely used PC software programs as campus license software programs to be freely used by any members of the SNU community on campus by signing campus license contracts.

The Campus License S/W Distribution System can be accessed through the mySNU webpage (http://my.snu.ac.kr), at the 'SW Download' item under the ‘Quick Menu’ Tab. Programs are provided in the forms of ZIP, EXE, and ISO files. ISO files can be used after installing ‘Smart Cloud Agent’ in the user’s PC beforehand.

Detailed instructions about using the distribution system are given in the ‘S/W Distribution System User Manual’, provided on the webpage of the system.

Meanwhile, the previous CD rental system is also still in service.
