The Seoul National University Foundation (http://www.snu.or.kr) will be reinforcing the benefits that are given to donors to provide a more practical reward for those who make large donations for the development of the university. Those who have shown good-will towards SNU will now be respectfully offered more special services.
First of all, the Foundation has stationed exclusive personnel at the Development Supporting Office at SNU Hospital to guarantee the convenience of donors during their medical treatment and hospitalization, as well as to conduct full-fledged priority escort services.
This measure will further simplify procedures for medical treatment services in the effort to eliminate any inconveniences for the patient, providing for more attentive treatment. Furthermore, immediate connection to both the main SNU Hospital and its Bundang branch will be made possible for those donors who have discovered the need for further medical treatment during physical examinations at the Healthcare System Gangnam Center.
Donors of 10 million KRW or more will be able to enroll free of charge for 1 year in SNU’s online idea sharing lectures at SNUi (http://snui.ac.kr), and will also be given 20% off from the tuition for off-line courses provided by SNU’s Extension College. Donors of more than 10 million KRW to the SNU Foundation will be exempt from the annual fee for membership for one year. SNUi is an online service from the Extension College that opens SNU professors’ lectures to the general public. It was first launched last May to meet the demand for lifelong learning in today’s aging society by sharing SNU’s professional knowledge with the community.
