The SNU Gwanak campus has been going under construction to provide a more convenient and a better-facilitated campus. These are the currently under construction sites.
BK 21 Research Bldg III
Planning to be completed by 2009, this 7-story building with 2 basement floors will consist of the graduate school research center for education, Human Ecology center, Graduate School of Public Health, and the Graduate School of Public Administration.
College of Engineering Bldg 35
Currently under going renovation, this 5-story building is expected to be open by this October. The building will hold research labs for graduate studies of engineering, an administration office and seminar rooms.
College of Natural Sciences Bldg 22, 23, 56
Bldg 22 and 23 will be mainly used for graduate school research labs; Bldg 56 will be built for the central purpose of the professors offices, will be expected to be completed this August at the earliest or February 2009 at the latest.
SPC-Agriculture and Life Sciences and Research Institute of Basic Science
SNU’s first joint research building will be finished by February 2009. It will be used as a research center in the field of biotechnology and basic science and also for the SPC Company’s industry-academic cooperation research.
