SNU will hold a joint lecture in English with the University of Tokyo this fall. The first official joint lecture in SNU history will be on the Economical Cooperation of East Asia, and will utilize a web-based video conferencing system.
In order to provide a more intimate setting for discussion, the class size will be limited to 30 students. Students will be encouraged to engage in real-time discussion with each other in hopes of providing a more interactive learning environment. Students will also be working together on projects and assignments, and may even have the opportunity to meet in future seminars.

Other foreign universities, including Peking University in China, Hanoi University in Vietnam, and the National University of Singapore, have also expressed interest in providing similar courses with SNU. Hopefully, if this collaboration with the University of Tokyo proves to be successful, this will provide the groundwork for future joint lectures at SNU.
