The SNU Alumni Association will collaborate with the Global Digital Contents Group (DICON) and Trigrams Korea to host the 2018 SNU Hallyu Dream Concert on October 21 at the SNU Sports Stadium. Hallyu, or the ‘Korean Wave,’ signifies the global popularity and influence of South Korean popular culture. With the guest appearance of the pop sensation vocal group, Wanna One, the concert is expected to attract interest among not only the members of the SNU community but also among the general public.
The concert marks the first time that the Alumni Association has hosted a program in the cultural arts. Lee Byungha, former SNU alumnus and the founder of DICON, expressed hopes that “the Hallyu spirit and the refreshing landscape of the school will bring together different origins, nationalities and generations from all across the country.”
Details regarding the concert will be available on the DICON website: www.diconstory.com
