Guide to Tuition Payment Schedule and Method

The tuition payment schedule for the 2008 Spring Semester as follows.

○ Target: All students, including undergraduate and graduate, current students, reregistering students and freshmen students

○ Duration: Wednesday, February 20th 2008 ~ Tuesday, February 26th 2008

○ Location: All local banks (including Woochaegook (Korea Post), Shinhyup (National Credit Union Federation of Korea), Saemaeulgeumgo (Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives) etc…)

Notification Print Period: from Friday, February 15th 2008

 

※ Application for Tuition in Installments (2 times)

○ Target: registered students with economic difficulties who wish to pay their tuition in installments (scholarship receiving students are exempt)

○ Duration: Wednesday, February 20th 2008 ~ Tuesday, February 26th 2008, 17:00

Method: Apply at the ‘등록금고지서출력’ (Print Notification) Screen (please scroll down for further instructions)

Notification Print Period: from the day after Tuition in Installments application is submitted

Installment Amount: 1/2 of total tuition

Payment Period:

- 1st round (Thursday, February 21st 2008 ~ Tuesday, February 26th 2008),

- 2nd round (Friday, April 18th 2008 ~ Tuesday, April 22nd 2008)

 

Methods of Printing Tuition Fee Notification

1.  Login to the SNU Portal (http://my.snu.ac.kr) à click on ‘등록금고지서출력’ (Print Notification) located on the bottom left of the screen

2.  Login to the SNU Portal (http://my.snu.ac.kr) à click on ‘학사행정’ (Student Administration) towards the top of the screen à click on ‘등록/장학’ (Register/Scholarship) on the menu on left side of the screen à click on ‘등록’ (Register) below that à click on ‘고지서출력’ (Print Notification) below à click on ‘출력’ (print)

3.  Go to the SNU website (www.snu.ac.kr) à click on ‘등록금고지서출력바로가기’ (Go directly to Print Notification) in the popup window

4.  Go to the SNU website (www.snu.ac.kr) à scroll down to ‘등록금고지서출력바로가기’ (Go directly to Print Notification) below ‘Quick Link’, on the left of the window.

If there is no notification relevant to the student available, the student must go to a nearby Nonghyup Bank (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) or Shinhan Bank and present their name and student identification number to pay their tuition.

If the notification is not printable for whatever reason in both the SNU Portal and SNU website, be sure that the Active X control and plugin has been installed (this can be checked in Internet Options, Security Options).

For scholarship, government scholar financial aid( 정부학자금융자), student medical expense discount fee related affairs, please call the Division of Welfare, 880-5078 or 880-5079.

For student membership fee related affairs, please call the Division of Student Affairs, 880-5052.

For tuition fee payment related affairs, please call the Division of Finance and Property, 880-5106, 880-5107 or 880-5113.
