All foreign students should receive the permission from ‘Korea Immigration Service’ in order to have a part-time job during their study. Otherwise, disadvantages could be given from the Korean government.

1. Eligibility
   Those who have a D-2 qualification of staying and have completed at least one semester in an educational
   institute above college level.
   * Please note that research projects, TA, experiment TA, and other jobs concerning temporary academic
      studies are allowed regardless of the foreign students’ enrolling period.

2. Permitted working hours and duration for foreign students
   ㆍLess than 20 hours per week during one semester (No limitations on public holidays or vacations)
   ㆍLess than two different workplaces
   ㆍFor one year during your stay (extension is possible later on)

3. How to get the permission
   ㆍYou should visit Korea Immigration Service (KIS) and make an application.
