2009 Summer <Russian Language Camp> Registration

Russian Language Camp is looking for participants. As we are on a tight schedule concerning invitations and airline ticketing, the registration deadline will be the following Tuesday (May 12^th, 2009), 11a.m.

Students’ share in expenses will be:
   1) A round-trip airline ticket (collective ticket)
      - Due to particularities of Russia, all students will enter and leave Russia together.
   2) Visa processing fees 
      (AIDS examination 50,000won + Russian student visa registration expenses)
   3) A part of cultural exploration expenses (will be mostly supported by SNU)
   4) Individual living expenses for 3 weeks (meals are not provided in the dormitory)

Compared to last year, cultural exploration expenses are expected to be additional. However, the 3 week tuition at Moscow State University, housing expenses and most of the cultural exploration expenses (fee for watching the ballet, opera and plays, the admission fee for all sorts of museums and art galleries, weekend trips to suburban Moscow and Petersburg) will be supported.

- Duration: Sunday, June 21^st, 2009 ~ Saturday, July 11^th, 2009, 3 weeks
- Availability: Undergraduate students of SNU (exact number not yet decided on)
- Professor in Charge: Park Jong-So (Dept. of Russian Language and Literature)

- Pre-Requisites:
Unlike the Summer Session course <Introduction to Russian 3>, students who are not familiar with Russian are eligible to apply for <Russian Language Camp> (Russian Language Camp is currently to be targeted at complete beginners of Russian)

- Registration Deadline: Tuesday, May 12^th, 2009, 11a.m. sharp

※ This is not a Summer Session course. No credit will be given.
※ Cancellation and refunds are not possible after registration.
