* Lecturer Profile

Professor John Treat is an expert in Japanese literature and cultural studies, co-editor of the “The Journal of Japanese Study”, and has received the John Whitney Hall Award, which is awarded to prominent authors in the fields of Japanese and Korean studies. He is also the author of writings such as "Writing Ground Zero"(1995) and "Great Mirrors Shattered" (1999).
