Girl Scouts Korea, in association with the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family Affairs (MIHWAF), is organizing a"Global Friendship Camp 2008" for three days, from Oct. 3rd to Oct. 5th. The camp will bring together foreign and Korean students, allowing them to exchange with each other and form friendly bonds.

Camp Outline

1. Camp Title:"Global Friendship Camp 2008"

2. Theme:"Together We Can Change Our World"

3. Date: Friday, October 3rd ~ Sunday, October 5th, 2008 (3 days)

4. Location: Full Gospel Camp (Gyeonggi province, Paju)

5. Participants:
- A total of 200 students:
i. 100 foreign high school and college students living in Korea.
ii. 100 Korean high school and college students.

6. Participant Qualifications:
- Foreign and domestic students who are interested in cultures foreign to themselves, interested in international relations, and can communicate in English.
- Students (both foreign and domestic) between the ages of 16 ~ 24.

7. Participating Fee:
- For foreign students 10,000 won (additional fees paid for by MIHWAF)
- For Korean students 40,000 won (additional fees paid for by MIHWAF)

8. Sponsor: Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family Affairs (MIHWAF)

9. Supervision: Girl Scouts Korea
