The Alumni Association of the College of Engineering has been supporting the Global Leadership Programs for the engineering students at Seoul National University through raising the “Vision 2010” fund. Through these programs, we promote supporting students to become a global leader with a broader perspective towards the international world. As one of the programs, a special open lecture on “International Manners and Attitudes in the Era of Globalization” will be held as follows:

Ambassador Gi Ok Jung has been invited as the guest speaker for this special lecture. He is the current protocol chairman at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and formerly served as an official at the MOFAT main office. He was also an ambassador to Denmark , Singapore , and Poland . From his well-diversified experience, we believe the stories he shares with us will open up our eyes to the global world and provide us with important tips regarding the international manners and attitudes we ought to know as global leaders. Although SNU's graduate students' participation in international conferences have been increasing dramatically, it seems that we still face difficulties when they try to interact with foreigners at such events. This lecture will provide valuable know-how about international manners and attitudes applicable to such situations often encountered. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
