The Data Science Research Institute at Seoul National University aims to provide balanced foundational lectures on programming, computing, mathematics, and statistics for students interested in data science, offering various educational and research opportunities.

Bootcamp Courses

1. Python Programming and Data Structures for Data Science

3. Mathematics for Data Science

4. Probability and Statistics for Data Science

The bootcamp is divided into four courses, allowing students to select and enroll in the classes they need. Each course is conducted online (remote) and lasts up to three weeks.

Tuition Fees

• 300,000 KRW per course

• Fill out a Google Form > Pay the tuition fee > Register via eTL system

Completion Criteria

• General Completion: Based on the total score from assessments (assignments, quizzes)

• Honors Completion: Based on the total score from assessments (assignments, quizzes, exams)

• If Courses 1 & 2 are both completed with honors, they will be recognized as fulfilling the Computing requirement for admission to the Graduate School of Data Science at Seoul National University (Equivalent course: Foundations of Computing for Data Science).

• If Courses 3 & 4 are both completed with honors, they will be recognized as fulfilling the Mathematics/Statistics requirement for admission to the Graduate School of Data Science at Seoul National University (Equivalent course: Foundations of Mathematics and Statistics for Data Science).
