Korea-Japan Future Seminar The Korea-Japan Future Seminar is a program hosted by the Institute for Japanese Studies at Seoul National University, supported by the Hakbong Scholarship Foundation. The seminar invites experts, researchers, and activists from both countries to analyze common challenges faced by Korea and Japan and seek solutions from various perspectives. Through these academic activities, the Institute aims to build a network of stakeholders who contribute to cooperation, coexistence, and joint prosperity between the two nations.

For the second Korea-Japan Future Seminar, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Lily Miyata, a postdoctoral researcher at Osaka Metropolitan University’s Human Rights Research Center. The seminar will be held under the theme <Transgender Issues and Social Problematization in Japan(日本のトランスジェンダーと社会問題化)> and we encourage all interested individuals to participate.
