On-Campus Upcycling Class with Reusable Food Containers

Greetings from Team Dadaiksun of the Student Social Contribution Group, Global Social Contribution Center, Seoul National University.

As part of our mission to build a culture of knowledge-sharing and social responsibility, Team Dadaiksun focuses on reducing single-use products and promoting the use of reusable containers and upcycling activities. The name "Dadaiksun" reflects the idea that "the more we reuse, the better."

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming on-campus class themed "Reusable Containers & Upcycling", where participants will experience sustainable living through hands-on activities.

 Class Details

  • Date: Thursday, May 29

  • Time: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

  • Venue: Global Social Contribution Center, Bldg. 153, SNU

  • Activities:

    • Try eco-friendly delivered food (choose between Mala Soup or Nakgopsae – octopus, tripe & shrimp stir-fry)

    • Make crafts using recycled sock yarn

    • Create natural deodorizer with used coffee grounds

  • Eligibility: All SNU community members interested in the environment

  • Cost: Free of charge

  • Sign-up Period: May 26 (Mon) – May 28 (Wed)
