The World After the Russia-Ukraine War: A Historian’s Perspective

May 28, 2025

Greetings,

We are pleased to invite you to the third lecture in the Russian Studies Special Lecture Series, which began last semester. This event promises to offer a meaningful opportunity to hear a historian’s insightful perspective on the trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine war, especially in the context of the increasingly complex global landscape with the possible return of Trump’s presidency.

All students, researchers, faculty members, and anyone with an interest in the topic—both within and outside the university—are warmly invited to attend.

The event will consist of a 1-hour lecture followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.

  • Topic: The World After the Russia-Ukraine War: A Historian’s Perspective

  • Speaker: Professor Kyungdeok Roh
(Department of Western History, College of Humanities)

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM

  • Venue: International Conference Room, Shinyang Hall, College of Humanities (Bldg. 4, Room 302)

We look forward to your active participation.
