Greetings from the Secretariat of the SNU Big Data, Fintech, and AI Training Program.

We are pleased to announce the 11th Cohort of the Advanced Big Data, Fintech, and AI Specialist Training Program, hosted by Seoul National University and fully funded by the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor (K-Digital Training Initiative).

This intensive program aims to cultivate Korea’s leading talents in big data analysis and the rapidly evolving sectors of fintech and AI, empowering participants to become frontrunners of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Program Overview

• Program Duration: June 23, 2025 (Mon) – January 22, 2026 (Thu)

  • 4 months of coursework (560 hrs) + 3 months of Capstone Project with industry partners (480 hrs)

  • Total: 1,040 hours

• Expected Number of Participants: Approximately 45 trainees

• Tuition: Fully funded by the Korean government

Application Timeline

• Application Period: May 12 (Mon) – June 2 (Mon), 2025

• Information Session:

  • Date: May 27 (Tue), 2025 at 3:00 PM (KST)

  • Venue: Room 230, SNU Asia Center (Bldg. 101) & via Zoom

  • Submitting the application form automatically registers you for the info session.
    Alternatively, you may attend in person or online without prior registration.

• Document Screening Results: June 5 (Thu), 2025 (6:00 PM KST)

• Interview Dates: June 9 (Mon) – June 10 (Tue), 2025

• Final Selection Announcement: June 11 (Wed), 2025

• K-Digital Card Issuance & Enrollment: June 12 (Thu) – June 22 (Sun), 2025

• Program Start: June 23 (Mon), 2025, 8:30 AM (KST)

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Hold a university degree (or expected to graduate by June 2027)

2. Be eligible for the K-Digital Training Program (via Korea’s National Tomorrow Learning Card)

3. Be available to participate full-time for the entire 7-month duration
   (Applicants currently enrolled in another government-funded training program are ineligible.
   Please confirm your eligibility with your local employment center.)

   • Personal Statement (A4, up to 2 pages, free format)

   • Proof of Graduation or Expected Graduation (certificate)

   • Academic Transcripts (for both undergraduate and graduate programs, including transfer schools)

   • Certificate of Enrollment (if applicable)

   • Employment Certificates (if relevant experience is listed)

   • Any additional supporting documents the applicant considers helpful
