Seoul National University Energy New Industry Innovation Convergence University Project
The Energy New Industry Innovation Convergence University Project at Seoul National University is organizing the Energy Up! Exploring the Energy New Industry Overseas Program (6th Batch) – Houston, USA as outlined below.
We encourage interested students to participate actively!
1. Program Overview
Training Period: August 3 (Sun) – August 10 (Sun), 2025 (6 nights, 8 days)
Location: Energy-related companies and universities in Texas, USA
Key Activities: Team projects, Data collection through research/surveys, Group presentations, Expert lectures, Corporate site visits
Eligibility:
Undergraduate students enrolled in the Energy New Industry Innovation Convergence University Project Consortium Universities (Seoul National University, Korea University, Hanyang University, Kangwon National University, Pusan National University, Jeonbuk National University, Gyeongnam Information University) who have completed at least one project-related course. (Students on leave of absence are not eligible to participate.)
Benefits: Full program funding (participation cost covered), Certificate of participation issued by the program director. Awards for outstanding teams in the final presentation

Application Period: May 7 (Wed) – May 16 (Fri), 2025, 17:00 KST

3. Important Notes
Mandatory Participation: Pre-training session, Submission of pre-report, Final presentation
July 14 (Mon) – 17:00: Pre-report submission (includes field data research, status summary, learning objectives, and plans)
July 23 (Wed) – 10:00–11:30: Pre-training session (program overview, pre-report presentation, and objectives)
August 28 (Thu) – 15:00: Final presentation (evaluation of goal achievement and sharing of program outcomes)
※ Students who cannot attend any of the above sessions are ineligible to apply.
※ Seoul National University students selected through the document screening will undergo an additional interview for final selection (announcement on May 28).
