The Institute of Learning Sciences at Seoul National University is pleased to announce the 2025 Undergraduate Research Support Program in the Learning Sciences. This initiative aims to promote research relevant to the digital transformation era and to encourage creative, interdisciplinary collaboration beyond academic boundaries.

Undergraduate teams selected for the program will receive KRW 2,000,000 in research funding, along with mentoring from graduate students who will be assigned according to the research topics of each team.

We encourage all undergraduate students interested in deepening their understanding of learning phenomena and utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance education to participate in this meaningful opportunity.

1) Application Period:
May 5 (Mon) – May 18 (Sun), 2025

2) Application Method:
Download and complete the attached “Research Support Program Application Form,” then submit it via email to daria0115@snu.ac.kr with the subject line:
“Application for Undergraduate Learning Sciences Research Support Program”

3) Eligibility:
Undergraduate teams (minimum of 3 members) who have completed at least one semester at SNU
Note: The student serving as the Principal Investigator must not be on a leave of absence.

• Brain-Based Learning

• Learning Analytics

• AI-Based Education

• Instructional Design

• Other related fields

5) Notification of Selected Teams:
May 28 (Wed), 2025 – Teams will be notified individually
An orientation session will be held in June.

6) Research Period:
June 1, 2025 (Sun) – January 31, 2026 (Sat)
One mid-term presentation will be held in November, and one final presentation in January.

7) Support Provided:
KRW 2,000,000 in research funding per team and graduate student mentoring
