This week's speaker for the SNU Data Science Seminar is Jangho Choi, a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley.

In this talk, he will present machine learning and control theory-based approaches to ensuring the safety of autonomous aerial systems. His research focuses on safety assurance in robotics and aviation autonomy, with extensive collaboration with key institutions such as NASA and Joby Aviation.

Mr. Choi holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, and was selected as a Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) Pioneer in 2024, recognizing his contributions to the field.
