Symposium on Software Defined Machine (SDM) Platform Technology in the Era of Digital Agriculture – Diagnosis and Future Directions (Wednesday, April 23, 13:00~)
Hello,
Global Smart Farm Educational Research Center at Seoul National University is pleased to invite you to a symposium aimed at exploring the current trends and future directions of Software Defined Machine (SDM) technologies—a new agricultural production system essential for realizing data-driven digital agriculture that will lead the future of farming.
In this symposium, experts will share insights on the SDM platform technology that defines agricultural operations through software, performs control of tractors and implements based on standardized communication, and manages tasks by storing operation data. We aim to closely examine the elements necessary for collaboration among agricultural input companies such as fertilizer, pesticide, and machinery manufacturers.
In addition, through a comprehensive panel discussion, we will clarify the respective roles of government, research institutions, universities, and industry. We intend to identify key factors needed to achieve a globally advanced level of smart agriculture in terms of policy, education, and industry, thereby establishing concrete strategies to enhance competitiveness in the agricultural sector.
