The speaker for this week’s Data Science Seminar is Thomas Kang, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Finmo, a startup developing AI-powered corporate treasury management solutions. In this talk, Thomas will introduce how AI technology is transforming traditional treasury management and explore the new startup opportunities emerging from this innovation.

Thomas earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, then served as a research engineer in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. After obtaining his MBA from Yale University, he transitioned into the financial industry, accumulating over 25 years of experience at firms including Citi, Rapyd, and M-DAQ, before co-founding Finmo and taking on the role of CRO.
