The Center for College Life & Culture at Seoul National University is recruiting participants for the 2025 1st Semester Burnout-Free Program.

"Feel and Take Care of Yourself in the Moment: Burnout-Free"

Learn how to protect yourself from burnout through a stress management program based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)!

<Program Promotion and Recruitment Details>

Date: April 1, 2025 – May 27, 2025, every Tuesday (except May 6), 6:30 PM–8:30 PM, all of 8 sessions Attendance at all sessions is mandatory

Location: Center for College Life & Culture (Building 63, Student Union Building, 5th Floor)

Instructor: Lee Sanghak (Counselor, Department of Social Sciences, Seoul National University; Specialized in Counseling Education)

Eligibility: Approximately 15 undergraduate and graduate students at SNU (including those on leave and research students)

Contents: Enhance psychological health, self-resilience, and inner peace while preventing burnout by using mindfulness meditation techniques to listen to your inner self.

Cost: Free

Application Period: March 24, 2025 (Monday) – March 27, 2025 (Thursday) May close early if many applications are received

Application Method: Apply through the Google Form link provided in the post Phone interviews will follow

Selection Criteria: Selection will consider application order, availability for all sessions, and motivation for participation (preliminary interviews will be conducted after application). Brief phone interviews will take place between March 25–28.

Result Announcement: Results will be communicated via email or text by March 28, 2025 (Friday).

April 1 (Tue): (Orientation) Program introduction, sharing participation motives, setting treatment goals, signing agreements, raisin meditation

April 8 (Tue): (Body Scan) Body scan, introduction to breathing meditation

April 15 (Tue): (Breathing Meditation) Breathing meditation, walking meditation

April 22 (Tue): (Hatha Yoga) Mindfulness-based Hatha yoga

April 29 (Tue): (Seated Meditation) Mid-program review, advanced breathing meditation (expanding to bodily sensations)

May 13 (Tue): (Breathing Meditation) Breathing expansion

May 20 (Tue): (Loving-Kindness Meditation) Advanced walking meditation (crazy walking), loving-kindness meditation

May 27 (Tue): (Conclusion) Mountain meditation or lake meditation, creating a personal meditation plan
