[Museum] 2025 First Half Wednesday Liberal Arts Lecture Series: 'Life and Science & Technology'

Mar 26, 2025 - May 14, 2025

The Seoul National University Museum, in collaboration with Gwanak-gu, organizes the "<Wednesday Liberal Arts Lecture>" series every spring and autumn. These lectures aim to provide students, faculty members, and the general public with engaging, enjoyable, and high-quality presentations.

In the first half of 2025, the lectures will be held under the theme of "Life and Science & Technology." This series will explore the diverse ways science and technology have enriched, diversified, and at times revolutionized our past, present, and future lives.

This lecture series, consisting of a total of 8 sessions, will explore the relationship between science and technology and human life across various historical contexts, as well as in the context of current and future scientific, technological, and medical changes. Covering topics such as the lives of Koreans during the Choseon Dynasty and the relationship between their lives and science and technology, the science of the face, the science of immortality, appropriate technology and life, infectious diseases and medicine, this series will provide a meaningful opportunity to view the transformative impact of science and technology on our lives from a fresh perspective.

We hope for your active participation.
