We are recruiting students for the Student-Directed Education Regular Program[the summer semester of the 2025 Regular Courses (Undergraduate Independent Study, Peer Group Seminar)], organized by SNU College.
The courses allow students to form teams of 1-3 members and autonomously as well as proactively conduct research or seminars on academic topics of their interest over the semester. Through this program, participants can earn credits for Elective Liberal Arts courses.
We encourage all undergraduate students interested in this program to actively participate.
1) Application Period: March 10, 2025 (Monday) – March 31, 2025 (Monday)

- Check the announcement on SNU College website and apply via the mySNU portal: [Academic Information] > [Basic Education] > [Student-Directed Education] > [SDE Application Details] tab.
① Download the application form from the announcement post on the Undergraduate College website. (Link: snuc.snu.ac.kr/announcement)
- Required Documents: Study/Seminar Plan, Approval Form from Supervising Professor
- Optional Documents: Department Recommendation Letter
② Fill out the application form via the [Academic Information] > [Liberaledu] tab on the mySNU portal and upload the required documents.
- Application Path: mySNU portal > [Academic Information] > [Liberaledu] > [Student Directed Education] > [SDE Application] Select ‘Undergraduate Independent Study 1, 2’ or ‘Peer Group Seminar’ then complete the application and upload the required files as attachments.
*For <Independent Research: Exploration>, select " Undergraduate Independent Study 1."
*For <Independent Research: Advanced>, select " Undergraduate Independent Study 2."
