What is the SNU Book Club ‘Hwadu’?
Program Overview:
This program is designed for undergraduate students at Seoul National University. Participants will read and discuss books from various fields such as literature, philosophy, and science & technology, all related to a specific theme chosen each semester. Through these discussions, students will gain a deeper understanding of contemporary thoughts and values. Additionally, participants can engage in various activities, including book lectures, author talks, movie screenings related to the theme, and presentations.

Application Information
- Eligibility: Undergraduate students (Graduates and graduate students are NOT eligible. However, students on leave and those who have completed coursework but not graduated may apply.)
- Application Period: February 26, 2025 (Wed) – March 7, 2025 (Fri) 2:00 PM
- Announcement of Selected Participants: March 10, 2025 (Mon) (Notification via individual email)
- Number of Participants: Around 100 students (If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, selection will be based on application review.)
- Orientation: March 13, 2025 (Thu) 5:00 – 7:00 PM (Strongly recommended to attend)
