With advancements in smart devices enabling non-invasive, real-time data collection, digital phenotyping research is rapidly growing to monitor user conditions and predict disease risks based on big data. This seminar will introduce the concept of digital phenotyping and discuss the latest research trends domestically and internationally.
Our speaker, Professor Jin Kyung Lee, earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University and is currently a Research Professor at the Institute of Learning Science. Her recent research includes studying the impact of childhood adversity on mental health in middle and later life, focusing on physical, psychological, and social variables. She is also conducting digital phenotyping research to predict depression risk using smart wearable devices, machine learning, and text mining. Her research interests include utilizing multimodal data to contribute to resilience and mental health prevention.
This seminar will be an excellent opportunity for researchers and students interested in digital phenotyping and digital biomarkers. A delicious lunch sandwich will be provided for on-site attendees, so we encourage you to join us.
