Presentation Title: Managing Cognitive Impairment in the Elderly and the Future of Care Services through Digital Therapeutics
Abstract: With the global population aging rapidly, the number of elderly people suffering from cognitive impairments and dementia is skyrocketing, placing significant strain on healthcare systems and social care services. Digital therapeutics are increasing the possibility of early detection and continuous management by providing real-time monitoring of cognitive status and offering personalized intervention programs. These tools not only contribute to improving the independence and quality of life of the elderly but also serve as data-driven decision-making tools for healthcare providers and caregivers. This presentation will explore the key technical challenges faced during the development of digital therapeutics for MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment) and propose one of the innovative solutions to overcome them. It will particularly focus on the clinical efficacy validation, optimization of user experience, and applicability in real-world medical settings, discussing how digital healthcare technologies can bring about changes in elderly care services and present a new paradigm in dementia management.
