The Kim Yoon-sik Academic Award was established in September 2022 with the support of a fund from Ms. Gah Jung-hye, in honor of the late Kim Yoon-sik’s academic achievements and spirit, and to promote the study of Korean modern literature. The selection committee, appointed by the Kim Yoon-sik Academic Award Organizing Committee, has chosen Professor Lee Kyung-jae as the recipient of the 3rd Kim Yoon-sik Academic Award for his work, The Kaleidoscope of Korean Modern Literature and the Nation (2023).
