Secret Key to Carbon Neutrality: Observation & Prediction of Land Carbon Sink

Oct 14, 2024 - Oct 15, 2024

Hello,

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Carbon Neutrality International Symposium of the Korea Carbon Project (KCP), hosted by the Climate Tech Center of Seoul National University.

Climate change poses a significant threat to the survival of humanity and the prosperity of future generations. Achieving carbon neutrality is crucial in overcoming this crisis, and the role of terrestrial carbon sinks is particularly important in this process.
This workshop will serve as a valuable opportunity to reexamine the significance of terrestrial carbon sinks and explore strategies for achieving carbon neutrality with experts from around the world. In particular, we will delve deeply into the latest research on MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) in the AFOLU (Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use) sector, technological innovations for Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR), and the use of AI in climate change research and prediction.
We look forward to your participation in this event to share your knowledge and experience as we work together toward a sustainable future.
