The SNU Law Public Interest Legal Center aims to promote legal welfare within the university and fulfill the social responsibility of the law school by providing free legal consultations to members of the Seoul National University community, such as students and staff, as well as local community organizations. Additionally, the center offers law school students the opportunity to gain practical experience in public interest work, with the goal of cultivating lawyers who have a strong sense of public duty.
○ Consultation Eligibility: Seoul National University students and staff (* This legal consultation service is aimed at members of the university community who are underserved by legal services.)
○ Consultation Scope: Civil, criminal, family law, and other legal matters requiring assistance.
※ Legal consultations are not provided for disputes between members of the university community, disputes between Seoul National University and its members, or matters under the jurisdiction of the Human Rights Center.
※ Legal consultations are not provided for issues that do not align with the educational or public interest purposes of the center.
※ Legal consultations are not available for matters involving family members or third parties who are not members of the university community.
※ Consultations related to departmental work matters are not available.
