Seoul National University Library and the College of Humanities, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Program in Western Classical Studies, are hosting an exhibition titled "Ut Pictura Poema, Ut Poema Pictura (Stories within Pictures, Pictures within Stories)."

Do you know what 'ekphrasis' is? Ekphrasis, a Greek term, refers to a method of depicting history and narratives through paintings, where the picture tells the story and the story captures the image. This exhibition aims to showcase how ekphrasis found in Greek and Roman literature has been adopted by later artists to create narrative paintings.

Pause for a moment on the first floor of the Kwanjeong Library Gallery to enjoy the pleasure and fun of seeing through hearing and hearing through seeing.
