[Extension of Contest Period Notice]

We are hosting the 'SNU official Instagram Content Contest.' The contest has been extended, and applications are now being accepted until February 12th. If you have content related to Seoul National University that you'd like to share with the Instagram followers of snu.official, please participate. This contest is open to international students as well. We appreciate your enthusiastic participation!

1. Timeline

• Application period: December 21st, 2023 ~ February 12th, 2024
• Result Announcement: In February 
• The date of announcement of the result may be modified.

2. Participation Category / Theme 

▶ Common theme: Content about 'Seoul National University' that you want to share with your followers on SNU's official Instagram.

1) Card news

• Example: Stories related to Seoul National University, information about Seoul National University that you want to share with your SNU Official followers.

2) InstaToon

• Example: Stories related to Seoul National University, information about Seoul National University that you want to share with your followers.

3) Photo

• Example: Views of SNU campuses, buildings, and facilities (Gwanak, Yeongeon, Pyeongchang, Siheung, etc.)

4) Videos (Reels, documentaries, vlogs, etc.)

• Examples: Free topic related to SNU and information on campus activities and facilities such as SNU programs and student organization activities, etc.

3. Eligibility

- SNU students (undergraduates, graduate students, current students, leave students, international students, etc.)

- Both individual and team applications are accepted (please designate one representative for team applications)

- Redundant applications are not allowed. 

4. Awards 

• 1st place: 500,000(KRW) 1 person (team)
• 2nd place: 300,000(KRW) 5 people (team)
• 3rd place: 100,000(KRW) 5 people (team)
• Honorable Mention: Chicken Gift Ticons for 10 people (team)
• Privilege: Winners will be exempted from the recruitment process for the first half of 2024 SNS student journalists.

*Awards will be given without distinction of field

*In the event of tax and utility charges, the applicant shall bear it 

5. Application Format 

1) InstaToon, Card news: 1080X1080, maximum 10 slides

2) Photo: maximum 10 slides (size: 1080x1350, 1200x628, 1080x1080 recommended)

3) Short Contents (Reels etc.): 1080x1920(vertical), less than 1 minute recommended (maximum 90 seconds) 

4) Documentary/Vlog etc.: 1920x1080(horizontal)/1080x1920(vertical), less than 10 minutes 

6. How to Apply 

- Send the application form and content to sotongteam@snu.ac.kr

1) Fill out the application form

(file name of the application: applicant's name_participation category_application for participation)

2) Attach the content

(file name of the content: applicant name_participating category_content title)

3) Send e-mail

(mail title: 스누오피셜공모전_Applicant Name_Participating Section)

ex) Application: Kim Sha-dong_InstaToon_Application for Participation

7. Please be Noted 

• In principle, the copyright of the award-winning work belongs to Seoul National University
• Production of content that does not infringe on other rights such as portrait rights and intellectual property rights is mandatory
• Contents that have previously won another exhibition or contest are not allowed to apply. 
• Award-winning works can be uploaded to Seoul National University's official Instagram after revision if necessary
• Depending on the results of the examination, the number of award-winning works and the scale of awards may vary, and if the criteria for examination are not met, the award-winning works may not be selected
