The theme of 21stICER(October 20 to 22, 2021, via virtual conference.) is “Reconceptualizing education in times of global crisis”. We ask you to look into the educational crisis we have experienced together during the global pandemic. We hope to unravel complicated questions we are facing up now to navigate the future directions of education. The ICER organizing committee invites scholars and researchers from all over the world to submit your abstract for the following thematic sessions.
- COVID-19 and local, national, and global challenges on education
- Meaning of schooling during and after the global pandemic
- Teacher qualifications for the ICT integration of schooling
- Parental role change in times of the educational crisis
- Narrowing down the digital divides and achievement gaps
- Pursuing the sustainable development goal #4 in the global crisis
- Supporting lifelong learners during the social crisis
- Changes and challenges in counseling within the non-face-to-face context
- Design for teaching and learning in the new normal
- Redesigning educational measurement and evaluation research
A complete abstract must be submitted to ICER website http://www.icer.snu.ac.kr no later than 15th of February 2021. All abstracts must include title, research purpose, methods, and potential implications. They also should be no more than 500 wordsand represent original, previously unpublished. The submission should be accompanied by a brief autobiographical note within 100 words for each author, together with affiliation, full e-mail address. The accepted abstract will be notified no later than 1 April 2021. For the recommended format, please refer to the sample file on the website.
