This special exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for us to look back foreigners' perceptions of Korea and overseas achievements in research for Korean Studies based on their perceptions, displaying travelogues and research works by foreigners. With an exhibition of related materials and Kyujanggak documents used in their research, we hope it will help us to examine the historical background where various perceptions have been formed and to appreciate the value of Kyujanggak documents actively used in research for Korean Studies outside Korea. We also hope it will bring together foreign and domestic academics of Korean Studies and inspire them to pursue higher academic achievement.
