Services for Students Gwanak Residence Halls

Gwanak Residence Halls snudorm.snu.ac.kr/en/

The Gwanak Residence Halls hosts undergraduates, graduates, and families numbering over 6,000 people and hailing from over 80 countries. The diversity of personalities, cultures, and educations on display will promote coexistence and harmony within the shared space.

Current Status

Student Residence Halls

The Student Residence Halls are intended for incoming and currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, and provides a space that allows students to focus on their academics.
Located near the backgate, the space features 21 residence halls that can house about 5,700 students.

Bldg. 918, 919A~D: 918(graduate students - single room) 919A~D (undergraduate students - three double room), 921~926(undergraduate students - double room)
≫ 11 buildings in total (2,312 students)

Bldg. 900, 902~905(BTL): 900, 902~905(graduate students - single room, double room), 901(undergraduate students - double room), LnL(undergraduate students - double room)
≫ 7 buildings in total (2,500 students)

Bldg. 915~917(Global): 915~916(undergraduate students – double room, four single rooms), 917 (graduate four single rooms,double room)
≫ 3 buildings in total (960 students), Selected by a ratio of 4:6 between Koreans and foreigners

Family Residence Halls

The Family Residence Halls are living spaces intended for graduate students (including researchers) that are married, and provides a space in which they can live with their families. Located between the Research Park and the Hoam Faculty Center, the space features 5 residence halls that are 5 stories each and can house about 200 families in a multi-family apartment structure.

BK Residence Halls

The BK Residence Hall provides faculty and researchers (both domestic and international) with a living space. Located near the back gate, it is available in 'family room' and 'studio' formats and can house about 391 families in a multi-family apartment structure.

Dormitories of Medical Campus in Yeongeon

Yeongeon-sa and Hamchun Residence Hall

Yeongeon-sa is for students of College of Medicine and Dentistry which houses about 422 students.
Hamchun Residence Hall is for students of College of Nursing.

Sangnok Student Dormitory in Pyeongchang

Sangnok Student Dormitory is for students of the Graduate School of International Agricultural Technology or students currently enrolled at Seoul National University studying at Pyeongchang Campus for six months or more. It has two Residence Halls, with 65 student rooms (two students per room) and 30 family rooms.
