The First Japanese Professor at SNU

The First Japanese Professor at SNU; Professor Junpei KIMURA, College of Veterinary Medicine

SNU has appointed a Japanese national to a professorship for the first time.
On December 10, Junpei KIMURA (木村 順平, 49) was nominated as an associate professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Professor Kimura was previously a professor at Nihon University in Japan and a visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin in the U.S. He has published papers in major journals, and also stands unchallenged in the fields of animal anatomy and research in evolution. Professor Kimura is also famous for high-tech analysis such as CT analysis and fascinating lectures using three-dimensional illustrations.

There are now 45 professors at SNU who are from other countries, including visiting professors.
