SNU Global MBA Program

1. 5-Term, One-year Intensive Program
The SNU GSB offers a one-year MBA program that is divided into 5 semesters (excluding the summer term) of eight weeks' duration without a break. The 12-month intensive program, which is equivalent to a two-year full-time MBA program in the US, allows students to receive the same standard of education in a year and to save tuition costs. For students who are interns at firms or who are participating in a dual-degree or student exchange program at a foreign university, it is possible to receive degrees from both prestigious schools.

2. Curriculum for corporate needs
In devising the curriculum, we have taken suggestions from an advisory board comprising 20 members who are currently working as human resources or recruiting executives in major Korean enterprises, public corporations, financial institutions, and venture companies, such as Samsung, LG, POSCO, Korea Electrics, Kookmin Bank, Hana Bank, GM Daewoo, and NHN. The board has made enthusiastic suggestions for a curriculum that will meet corporate needs and cultivate the qualities that are required by our students. We are planning to hold regular advisory meetings so that our MBA program can keep up to date with the demands of the business world.

3. The best faculty members in Asia
SNU faculty members are different. Not only do they have experience in teaching MBA programs in top overseas universities such as MIT, Columbia, Michigan, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, and the London Business School, but they are also credited annually with the highest course ratings at SNU. Our faculty members are also renowned for their in-depth research and papers that are published in leading academic journals.

4. Excellent educational environment
For the new MBA program, we will provide MBA-exclusive lecture halls, a rest lounge, a seminar room, and group discussion rooms, all of which are of the highest standard. MBA students can also enjoy a variety of facilities including a gym, a fitness club, and a library, and will benefit from a student support system that we have established to assist students with placement and career management.

5. Strategic allance with Duke University
To meet global standards, the SNU MBA has signed a comprehensive strategic alliance with the Fuqua Business School of Duke University, which is a leading business school in the US. Our Global MBA program provides an optional dual-degree program that allows students to receive a Duke degree and an SNU degree. Furthermore, prominent professors from major US business schools, including Duke University, will be invited to SNU to teach electives. This means that students will be able to take courses that meet the standards of the top 10 MBA programs in the US, but without going abroad. We are planning to sign more strategic alliances and dual-degree agreements with other top foreign universities in the future.

6. The best social network in Korea
SNU was founded in 1946. SNU alumni are among the most successful and influential leaders in Korean society, from top companies, government, and academia, to political circles. Enrollment in an SNU MBA program will give students immediate access to the best social networks in Korea.
