On February 27, the SNU Asia Center (SNUAC) held the 10th Commencement and 11th Orientation ceremonies for its research trainee program.

The commencement began with opening speeches by Associate Director of Research at the SNU Asia Center, Park Soo Jin (Department of Geography), with a closing address by Co-Director of the Environmental Cooperation Program, Kim Daehyun (Department of Geography).

Launched in 2009, SNUAC is a research and international exchange institute that aims to serve as a global hub for research in Asian studies by integrating regional and thematic research. The six-month research trainee program was created to support Korean and international university students interested in Asia-related research. Selected students participate in regular research and training seminars with the opportunity to gain experience working in regional research centers.

In addition to promoting excellence in research, SNUAC supports various academic events including special lectures, workshops, and national and international conferences. Through a wide range of activities, SNUAC is dedicated to building a network of Asian scholars and nurturing next-generation academics.
