SNU School of Law is accepting applicants for its fellow program for Fall 2019 and Spring and Fall 2020. Fellows receive monetary support as they conduct academic research and assist in student affairs. Anyone who holds a law license is eligible, and those with previous legal experience are preferred.

SNU is the first among Korean law programs to support their fellows’ studies rather than just appointing them as teaching staff. SNU fellows serve as mentors for students taking courses in required subjects such as constitutional law or criminal law. They also participate in counseling sessions, providing a wide range of advice to students. In return, they receive a monthly salary, research support and tuition waivers for Masters or Ph.D programs.

Four fellows from various law specializations were selected for the inaugural Spring 2019 program. Equipped with abundant field experience and special knowledge, SNU School of Law Fellows enrich law school education. According to Lim Yong, SNU School of Law Associate Dean of Student Affairs, SNU plans to expand the program in future years.

Applications are due May 17, 2019. For more information, see http://law.snu.ac.kr/.
