The SNU Library is launching a fundraising campaign for the construction of a new library that would provide users with a more pleasant research environment. The fund will also be used to renovate the current building.

The SNU Library, built almost 4 decades ago, now faces safety issues as well as challenges in functionality and convenience. To provide better library services, we have decided to launch a campaign under the title of 'FRIENDS OF THE SNU LIBRARY.'

All details concerning the campaign are available on the homepage http://friends.snu.ac.kr : causes, purposes, visions, donation information and activities updated.

Although actual plans regarding the location and architectural design of the new library has not been specified yet, we are planning to create an eco-friendly library that would be conceptualized, designed and built by the experts in the field.

Our fundraising campaign is open to everyone regardless of the size of donation. So please join us and be a part of the SNU Library’s history!
