The
Center for Teaching and Learning had a discussion meeting with professors who delivered
lectures in English during winter session. As a succeeding discussion, we are
planning another meeting with students who have taken English lectures to
collect and collate opinions and comments from students.
We
have increased the number of English lectures and the number of students who
are required to take those lectures to provide global education environments
and improve the international competitiveness of students. Despite the quantitative
increase, institutional support is still lacking. Presuming that difficulties exist
on the part of both professors and students, we arranged a meeting to share the
points of concerns of all involved.
The
discussing meeting will be a place where you can bring up everything that has
to do with English lecture, such as complaints regarding administration or
suggestions in teaching methods.
Participants
will be paid 50,000 won and the notes from the meeting will be revised and
quoted in publications by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
The
meeting will be held on January 28th, 29th and 31st.
Please refer to the following schedule and if you are available at the allotted
time, read the post on our web site (http://ctl.snu.ac.kr)
and send us the application form attached on the website post. Remember your support
may bring about huge improvements. Thank you.
