2007 Registration for Fall Semester

Current students, newly admitted graduate students, re-registering students or re-admitted students who are planning to register for the fall semester are encouraged to pay the tuition fees as specified below:

- Registration procedure:

 Print out the invoice → Visit a bank → Pay the tuition fees at a bank

- Payment period of tuition fees:

  Mon. August 20 ~ Fri. August 24, 2007 (5days)

- Detailed procedure:

1. Visit the SNU portal website http://portal.snu.ac.kr , and click [등록금고지서/납부확인서 출력, Print Out Tuition Fee Invoice] on the bottom of the left menu. Then you will find a pop-up window.

 

2. Click [2007년도 2학기 등록금고지서출력, Print Out Tuition Fee Invoice for 2007 Fall Semester].

(1) Enter your [학번, student id number] e.g. 2007-12345. You must include “dash” between the numbers. If you are a newly admitted graduate student and do not know your student id number, please enter the first 4 digits only e.g. 2007.

(2) Enter your alien registration number in the [주민등록번호, resident registration number] columns if you have it. If you don’t, enter your birthday YYMMDD and 1000000 (for man) or 2000000 (for woman) e.g. 851212 - 1000000 when your birthday is December 12th, 1985 and you are a man.

(3) Enter your name in Korean in the [성명, name] column. If you do not know your name, please contact your department office.

 

4. After signing in, you will find the tuition details in the table located in the center of the window. Click [2007학년도 제2학기 등록금고지서 출력, Printout]  on top of the table.

 

5. Then check the details of the invoice and click the printer icon to print the invoice out.

 

6. Now you have your invoice, and you are ready to visit a bank. You can either pay the tuition fees at the teller’s window (for every students) or use the virtual account service at the ATM (except for newly admitted graduate students). The virtual account numbers are shown in the invoice. The tuition fees are payable at any banks including Post Office, Credit Union, Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives (KFCC) etc. Please note that the working hours of the banks are 9:30 ~ 16:30, from Monday to Friday.

In case you are unable to print the invoice out, visit the banks on the campus (Nong-Hyup and Shin-Han Bank) and pay the tuition fee giving your name and student id number to the teller instead of the invoice.
