The following is the information about registration for research students. Those who wish to register as research students, please pay the registration fee according to the following information.

1. Registration Period

Choose one of the following periods. Please note the weekends and national holidays are not included.

1st Round:  Aug 16 ~ Aug 17, 2007 (Thu ~ Fri, 2 days)

2nd Round:  Aug 29 ~ Sept 4, 2007 (Wed ~ Tue, 5 days)

3rd Round:  Sept 12 ~ Sept 14, 2007 (Wed ~ Fri, 3 days)

4th Round:  Oct 2 ~ Oct 5, 2007 (Tue ~ Fri, 3 days)

2. Who needs to pay

Students who have completed their graduate coursework, and are planning to submit thesis or want to use the school facilities such as libraries, laboratory, computer center, dormitory, etc.

* Students who are supposed to complete their coursework by August 2007 may make payment from the 2nd round.

3. Payable Amount

(1) Students of the Department of Humanity, Social Science and Creative Arts & Physical Education: \ 150,000

(2) Students of the Department of Natural Science: \ 200,000

4. Where to pay

Any branch of Nonghyup or Shinhan Bank.

5. How to pay

Print out the notice for payment which should be submitted along with the fee to the designated bank.

6. How to print the notice for payment

 1) Login the SNU portal website. (http://portal.snu.ac.kr)

 2) Click [academic administration (학사행정)] on the menu bar, then find [class management (수업관리)] → [graduation information (졸업정보)] → [research student fee notice(연구생부담금고지서)] as shown in the following figure.

* If you have problems printing it out, please pay a visit to the Administration Office of your College, and request a staff to print it out.

7. Reminders

(1) A research student is a student preparing for thesis submission after completing graduate coursework. In order to use school facilities and submit a thesis for deliberation, you must register as a research student.

(2) If you do not register, you are unable to apply for thesis deliberation. Registration and refund are available only during the specified periods. You may ask for refund to the Administration Office of your College.
