[Faculty News] Professor HA Kyooseob of SNU's College of Medicine was elected as the Vice President of Education of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders at the symposium held in Istanbul, Turkey. Professor Ha said he would successfully lead the 2014 symposium of the Society, which will be hosted in Seoul.

[Other] The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and the National Research Foundation announced the recipients of the Global PhD Fellowship Grant. Among the 167 recipients, 74 were SNU students, which is the highest number among all universities. The grant is a program to help promising PhD students conduct research without worrying about their tuition fee and living expenses.
